Chapter 2
Jim, Travis, and Bridgette left to their rooms with a puzzle look on their face.
They just couldn’t believe what they just heard.
Jim and Travis started to pack their bags. They put their pictures, their CDs, their CD player, and their clothes.
Meanwhile, Bridgette was fixing her bag, putting her diary, her makeup, magazines, brush, clothes, and CDs. That’s when her young sister Sabrina interrupted her, “Why you packing your bags, sister?”
“Because I’m going away to school,” Bridgette answered trying to hold back her tears.
“Oh. Okay,” Sabrina responded
Sabrina left and Bridgette continued to pack her bags. She put all her clothes, pictures, and other things. All their morning was spent fixing their bags, and getting everything ready for their trip.
In the afternoon, Jim, Travis, and Sabrina were talking about their new lives away from home, when their little sister walked in, and announced, “Hey, guys, mom and dad want to see you.”
Jim, Travis, and Bridgette jump to their feet, and went to the living room.
“Take a seat. We have some things for you,” their dad announce.
“First, this is for Bridgette,” their mom said.
“Here. This is your plane ticket. And this packet is for you,” their mom spoke.
Bridgette opened the packet and commented angry.
“This skirt is knee length. These pants are ugly. And I’m not wearing this white blouse or these black shoes!”
“Well, young lady that’s your school uniform. If you don’t wear it, it is your problem. And you face the consequences later,” their dad told her
Their dad turned to her brothers and gave them their packets and their plane tickets.
“You are dismissed,” their dad said.
The school uniform for their school was black shirt or black pants or black shorts, white or blue blouse, and black shoes for the girls. And for the boys was black pants or blue shorts, with a white or blue dress shirt with a black tie, and black dress shoes.
The guy’s shirts had the school logo imprinted on it, while the girls had the same design but for their blouse. Girls had to wear knee high socks, and guys had to wear knee high black socks.
Their afternoon was spent talking and relaxing before they left tomorrow.
When the nightfall came, they were call down for dinner. This was their last meal at home before going away to a private school.
During dinner their mom and dad wish them a good trip. After dinner, they just disappear to their respective room.
Bridgette had dirty blonde hair with blue eyes, and she measured 5’6. She let her long blonde hair fall down below her shoulders. And she never bother to pick it up. Basically she didn’t care.
Jim was 6’1 with short military style cut black hair and brown eyes. Jim was very quiet, didn’t cause trouble like his sister, but he didn’t get along with nobody didn’t agree with him.
Jim had the philosophy of "my way or the highway." Jim had Southern Rebel flag tattoo on his left arm. He was 14 years old and he spoke with a strong southern accent.
Travis was 6’0 and he had brown hair with green eyes. He was a troublemaker just like his sister. He drank, and fought, and did anything that could get him in trouble. Travis didn’t care about hurting other people feelings, as long as he didn’t get hurt back.
He had gone to one extremity that he had fought his own brother, because they like the same girl. He was trouble, all the way. Travis was 15 years old, and he also had a tattoo on his back that said Southern Rebel. He had his brown hair until shoulder length and he spoke like his brother with strong southern accent.
Early the next morning, their parents wake them up.
Jim and Travis carried their bags down, and put them on their Escalade. While Bridgette roll down her bags, put them also on the back of the Cadillac Escalade. All three of them were wearing the uniform of their new school.
They got into the Cadillac Escalade and their parents drove them away.
