Climbing Arc Episode 2 is unofficially set to be filmed after my next project, NVMM+NVSE (Necromancer vs The Moonmen + Necromancer vs The Star-Eaters).
Because most of us are keeping RIAfunk up as only a hobby, we still have to deal with our day to day lives and earn money to fund our projects, so a concrete filming schedule is still up in the air.
It’s all going to depend on when everyone is available and when I will be in Miami again to get everything started.
The script for NVMM + NVSE has been complete for a few months now and the details for CA Episode 2 are continuing to be ironed out.
Set design is a big issue and concern right now for me regarding Episode 2. It’s hard to make a series about a desolate planet overrun by zombies when you have kids running around in the park in the background of a shot. But because this is low budget, it’s almost unavoidable.
That is one of the reasons I want to push the filming back a little bit, so as to have a chance to learn from building sets for NVMM + NVSE. So (hopefully) with a little practice beforehand, Episode 2 won’t come out looking as low budget as it is inevitably going to have to be.
So far, these are the more or less concrete details of Episode 2:

Update #1 !!!
Work-in-progress script snippets!
This may or may not be exactly how Episode 2 plays out,
but I will share some snippets of scene ideas I have been
playing around with!
Scene Idea #1
Mason’s hammer is endowed with the power of Soltus by the goddes Elfaiba.
Script Snippet
Mason’s hammer is endowed with the power of Soltus by the goddes Elfaiba.
Script Snippet
Mason (played by DJ Benvenuto the Raccoon) is lying in
an alley, with debris all around him. He wakes up. He has no memory.
He stands up and walks around the small town, full of debris, everything
destroyed. There are
broken windows, Mason picks up some rocks and starts
throwing them at windows. They shatter. When they shatter a soul comes out of them.
Mason: What is this?
He breaks
a few more windows. When he breaks one, a goddess comes out.
Goddess: I am
the goddess Elfaiba, thank you for freeing me from my prison. The spirit of Soltus is now in
your hammer
(intentionally cheesy, or just a rough idea of what happens here).
Mason: What?!
Scene Idea #2
Not sure yet who will say this or in what context, but I want to connect Sorpaculips and Manchutrogular somehow. Maybe Ipaldir (the villain) may use it as an attack (kind of like an evil counterpart of Mason’s Soltus).

FROM BEFORE THE TIME OF MAN
WHEN ..... (will fill in later)
SORPACULIPS TO RULE SORPACULOPOLIS
MANCHUTROGULAR SON OF SORPACULIPS
ULTIMATE SOLUTION OF THE FALLEN!
BRANTANBRIZ!
Scene Idea #3
Mason meets Raphael and Virginia for the first time. He comes upon them as
Raphael is in the middle of a battle with Ipaldir (the villain) and his
subordinate, Vanier Zancastle.
Script Snippet
Mason saves Raphael somehow (probably using one of Soltus’ abilities).
Ipaldir: What happened?!?
Mason: Who are you?
Raphael: You people are scum, you take everything away from the
innocent and you don’t realize you are being controlled by
corrupt overlords.
Ipaldir: Haha, nobody said I keep the things I take. I am my own
entity!
Raphael: The people in this town are just trying to survive.
Trying to survive in this madness. And you don’t even know who is in
charge, do you? You are no better than these people, you are alone, just
like them! You can’t escape the truth!!
Ipaldir: What?!
Raphael prepares to attack.
Vanier: There’s no acceptance of dissidents.
Vanier attacks Raphael.
Raphael: Argh!!
Mason looks at Ipaldir, Ipaldir doesn’t move. Only watches. Mason gets
up and helps Raphael.
Vanier: No matter how hard you try, you can’t stop what has
started.
Ipaldir steps forward.
Ipaldir: You’re right, I don’t know who is in charge. But I don’t
care. You know, I am alone as these people are, you’re right. But I do
know now that I am helping to build something, I am not destroying
anything, even if it looks that way to you.
Raphael: What?!?
Ipaldir leaves with Vanier.
Virginia: You know what he said makes sense, in a way.
Mason: Where did that voice come from?
Virginia: Don’t be so rude! I’m right here!
Mason: What?!?

Update #2 !!!
Production Update!
I’ve posted about it on The Board.
Click here to see the thread!
So this pretty much means that I’ll have to rethink my approach towards the kinds of scenes I shared in Update #1. No visuals, so the window-breaking part might be easy, but I’ll have to think about how to do the battle scenes.
