What's playing?

A photo of the jeans-wearing legs and shoes of somebody sitting on a plaid couch in a college dorm room with a stereo boombox on the concrete floor by their feet.

TornadoChaser has this to say:

The purpose of this thread is very simple.

Surely often when you come here, you have some kind of music / video / etc. playing in the background. All you have to do is come write it in here. Yes, I know - it’s not quite original, but I enjoy these quite a bit, sooo... I’ll begin.

Hurricane 2000 - Scorpions and Berliner Philharmoniker

DJ Benvenuto the Raccoon II (With the Funny Hat) responds:
Interestingly enough, unless you did that on purpose, the song I mentioned earlier was from the YTMND soundtrack(s).

TornadoChaser responds back:
Hehe. Nope! Not on purpose.

Amerika - Rammstein

DJ Benvenuto the Raccoon II (With the Funny Hat) comments:
OH YEAH? Well, take this!

Paul Engemann - Scarface (Push It to the Limit)

Another song from the YTMND collection. Another catchy one and horribly cheesy too.

So basically anything from MTV2 Rock Hour (or w/e it’s called) and / or anything that has a Hot Topic shirt.

TornadoChaser responds:
I don’t get MTV2, and I dunno what shirts Hot Topic has. Haven’t been in a whiiiiile. I usually have my pandora.com station playing, so whatever it brings me, I try out. Like now...

Not yet. It’s on me list of albums I need to get when I get money. You sent me this one / told me to look it up ages back.

Do you have what it takes to be in the Ramsfeld Agency? Contact me for details.

The Funk Mistress comments:
Social Distortion - Ball & Chain

P.S. - I want to be in the Ramsfeld Agency. Do I have what it takes? If it takes breasts, I am more than qualified.

Zath responds:
Well, Funk Mistress, first you’ll start off like any other person will start - as an escort. That is, escorting agents on missions, not the dating kind.

The Funk Mistress responds back:
The Fray - She Is

Well, I am really good at the other kind of escorting. How different can it be? I bet I will be awesome. Sign me up. <3

AWISE FROM THE GWAVE

Push It to the Limit is pretty damn hypnotic once you start listening to it. It starts over and you don’t even realize it.

Extremely! I think I counted 23 times in a row once when I was too lazy to get up and hit stop and just kept pushing it to the limit. Whatever, it helped me get done and I attribute my passing grade to that song now.

DJ Benvenuto the Raccoon II (With the Funny Hat) responds:
One time I did that with “Monster Mash”. I listened to that song for an hour, at least. Maybe even close to two hours straight. Don’t do it.

TornadoChaser responds back:
Haha! I shall keep that in mind!!

The Kill - Thirty Seconds to Mars

DJ Hadoken Exlamparaaghis comments:

Snow Patrol’s new CD.

Specifically Chasing Cars, You’re All I Have, and You Could Be Happy.

Yes, I am like the only person on the board who doesn’t actively listen to metal. Not because I have anything against it, I enjoy it. Bleh, I have no excuses.

DJ Benvenuto the Raccoon II (With the Funny Hat) responds:
Hahaha. I still find that name funny. It must be interesting spending your life looking for snow. Can’t be too hard either. If you know where to go of course.
