It was an early dark thundering Monday morning in late August, when Bridgett and her two brothers Jim and Travis arrived home, drunk after a night of partying. Jim parked the Cadillac Escalade, and they got off.
“Y’all don’t think we going get in trouble for coming home drunk?” Bridgett asks as she stumbles to keep her balance.
“Nah, mom and dad used to drink as much as us when they were younger,” Jim assured her.
“Yeah, probably nothing would happen,” Travis said
When Travis opened the door of the house, Bridgette who couldn’t keep her balance, and was trying not to throw up even though she felt like it, just couldn’t hold it anymore. So she throw up all over the main entrance carpet.
“Man, what we going do, now? For sure now we going get caught,” Travis comment.
“Don’t worry, we can blame it on Sabrina,” Jim answer.
As Jim finished speaking, Bridgette who couldn’t keep her own balance just felt down face first into her own vomit. As she hit the floor, their parents walked down to see what was the commotion all about.
“What you guys, doing here so late?” their dad ask.
“Noothing,” Jim responded stuttering.
“You guys are drunk, and that explains why Bridgette has her face bury on her own vomit,” their mom suggest.
“No, we aren’t,” Travis answer stumbling.
“The three of you, are drunk,” their dad said.
“You know what? You guys keep lying about it, and the consequences are only going get worse,” their dad continued.
“How much you guys did drank?” their mom ask intriguing.
“I can’t count the drinks, but we drank a lot,” Jim answered.
“Three of you, go upstairs, you are grounded indefinitely and Jim would you give me the car keys, please?” their dad told them.
Jim took the car keys out of his pocket and gave to him.
“Bridgett, please take a bath,” their mom told her as Bridgett was trying to stand up, and she had her face cover in vomit.
“Tomorrow, we going deal with you guys, and hand out the consequences. Now leave!” their dad scream.
Jim, Travis, and Bridgette headed upstairs to their respective rooms.
Jim and Travis changed clothes, and went to sleep. While Bridgette who smelled liked vomit, undress and she went to the bathroom to a take shower.
She was inside the tub and open the water handles, and let the water run through her body. As she was taking the shower, she throws up once again, in the bathtub. She finished taking her bath, and she put on her night gown, and went to sleep.
She was walking to her bed, when she though to herself, “I have massive headache. This could be the worst night of my life.”
She lay on her bed, and went to sleep.
The next morning, their parents woke them up, and told them to go downstairs.
Jim, Travis, and Bridgette walked down to the living room, and sat on the sofa. Their parents walked in a few seconds later.
“The decision of you guys to drink was irresponsible, immature, and downright stupid,” their dad said.
“Yes, we know, dad. Sorry,” Jim responded.
“Why don’t you cut the bullsh*t, and just get to the part where you ground us?” Bridgette asked.
“Shut up, young lady,” their mom told her.
“Drinking, and driving isn’t very safe, and what kind of example you are setting for you little sister?” their mom ask.
“We are deeply sorry. Just give us a chance,” Travis told her.
“No chance, we found the perfect solution to your actions,” their dad said.
“Yes, how long we grounded for?” Bridgette ask.
“Oh, no you aren’t ground. Three of you are going to a private boarding school in New England. There you going spend your first year in high school. You guys leave tomorrow,” their mom inform them.
“What?” Jim said shocked.
“What your mom said. Start packing. Now leave!” their dad answer angry.
